Job description
FPZ is seeking a talented R&D engineer to assist with the design, testing and development of our new range of products for our Blowers Division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with the R&D team to create functional design concepts, test existing designs, and oversee the implementation of development projects. He/She might also be involved in the redesign of current products depending on Market requirements. The whole product development process is always carried out in collaboration with other Departments such as Operations and Sales, in order to ensure maximum effectivenes for each new design.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Mechanical/Energy/Aerospace Engineering or similar
Fluent Italian and English language
Testing:
experience with measurements and measurement systems (data sampling, acquisition, instruments connections, calibration, uncertainty, ...)
R&D:
CAD software (preferably solidworks)
mechanical design (tolerances, couplings, ...)
production technologies (foundry, machining, additive manufacturing) PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
TESTING:
handling laboratory tests
fluid-dynamic measurements (pressure, flow rate, temperature, ...)
electrical measurements (voltage, current, power, unbalance, power factor, ...)
knowledge regarding the basic working principle of electric motors
handling laboratory test reports
R&D:
fluid-dynamic analyses, structural analyses, noise/vibration analyses SENIORITY LEVEL
Junior Level. New graduate student or up to 1-2 years of experience in the field.
