Open Source Maintainer (Part Time)
Job Description

You will:
- Own the development and maintenance of the Python client libraries (supabase-py, realtime-py, gotrue-py etc. & vecs). []
- Reach parity with the Supabase Javascript Python Client Library.
- Guiding community maintainers and contributors.
- Own the documentation for the above.
- Produce materials that assist in the adoption of supabase-py and vecs users. Technical blog posts, example applications, guides and tutorials etc.
- Support the above across Discord, GitHub, and HubSpot.
This role is part time (ideally ~20 hours per week) and will start as a 3 month contract with opportunity to extend if successful in the role.

Requirements
You are:
- 5+ years of Python development.
- 2+ years experience contributing or maintaining an Open Source project.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization systems.
- Javascript/Typescript experience.
- Deep exposure to Postgres.
- Experience with Vector Embeddings and AI systems.
