Summary
Role mission
Main mission of this role is to be the focal point of the Global Data Team for integration activities in the Supply Chain area, guaranteeing global guidelines of governance, knowledge and usage of global Data and the best practices in the development of integration activities.
The candidate shall have strong interpersonal skills and good managerial skills, especially in terms of relashionship and team cooperation (both internal and third parties relationship) and excellent ability to manage compliance with the agreed roadmap.
The candidate will report to the Global Data Manager.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Relationship with Business and others IT team involved in the Supply Chain processes , as a point of reference for the integration strategy and its implementation.
- Management of a team that is responsible for implementing the strategy in the roadmap defined for the Supply Chain Digital Transformation program
- Guarantee, for the integration activities, the sustainability and the realization of the roadmap in the Supply Chain area, coordinating the activities of the dedicated team
- Attending and organize meetings about project status, providing meeting agenda, detailed recap and
documentation. - Monitoring performance of project milestones: Requirement definition, general design and test phase.
- Verify that the architecture and use of data in the new SC tools are compliant with the Global Data Best practices and data governance.
- Be able to personally contribute to the development of interface applications as a data engineer
Key Requirements
- 5+ years working experience in designing, developing and deploying data engineering/integration solutions;
- Bachelor’s degree in managing engineer, economics, statistics, or related fields;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relational skills;
- Strong orientation to results;
- Understanding the different ways an application layer can interface with a data repository familiar with Cloud offering in the context of databases and integration applications;
- Skilled in data integration method/activities;
- Precision, stress tolerance, punctuality.
- Preference will be given to candidates with proven track of Data integration within Fashion or Customer Goods companies of Supply Chain processes.
Technical Skills:
- E xcellent knowledge of SQL programming language
- Experience in object-oriented programming (Java, Phyton, C ++, etc ..)
- Preferably Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, AWS Lambda, Athena, AWS Kinesis, APi Gateway
- Knowledge of data integration tools/principles ;
- Preferably Experience with using Cloudera platform: HDFS, Hive, Flume, Sqoop or Oozie
- Knowledge in the use of stream-processing systems: Kafka, Spark-Streaming, etc.
