Villa Sant’Andrea is seeking a talented Pastry Chef the partie to join its team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and preparing a range of delicious desserts and pastries at one of Belmond's stunning destinations across the globe. As part of the Belmond team, you will be joining a group of passionate professionals who share a pioneering spirit and a commitment to authenticity. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and bake a variety of pastries, desserts and other baked goods 
• Design new recipes to enhance the dessert menu and keep it interesting and diverse 
• Ensure all pastries are baked to perfection and meet high quality standards 
• Manage inventory and control costs to meet budget goals 
• Supervise and train junior pastry suos chefs in the preparation, baking and decoration of pastries 
• Collaborate with the executive chef to develop menu ideas and create a cohesive dining experience for guests 
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times 

Requirements

• At least 3 years pastry chef experience in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel 
• Good knowledge of pastry art techniques and recipes, including gluten-free and vegan options 
• Ability to manage inventory, control costs and meet financial goals 
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills 
• Passion for quality and attention to detail 
• Ability to work with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
