Production Planner SAP / Scheduling.
per annum DOE Based near Stamford
5D Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturer of Load Banks and Dynamometers to recruit a Production Planner. There are a variety of products within the range which can vary in size from handheld through to shipping container sized. Products can either be portable or a fixed installation.
Requirements
What the Role will involve for the Production Planner:
- Creating and maintaining a production plan and schedule.
- Maintain the SAP capacity plan to ensure system dates are adhered to.
- Ensure all BOMs have the correct routing applied.
- Maintain the MRP system resource calendar.
- Work closely with the Purchasing department ensuring all parts are received within acceptable lead times.
- Understand and report on part availability and stock levels.
- Monitor the work in progress within production addressing any component supply issues.
- Logging production timesheets.
What we are looking for in the Production Planner:
- Knowledge of production scheduling this can include logging production orders and all relevant purchase orders.
- MRP knowledge. Ideally SAP.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Good communication skills with the confidence to speak to suppliers.
