In your role as Director I&C Italy (m/w/d), you will manage the entire Italy region in all project and quotation requests for process automation and building management automation. Thanks to the close exchange with our customers, you will be able to analyze requirements precisely and implement them in our planning. As a manager, you are close to the business and can drive forward important topics with our Head of Engineering and Design. Here you have the chance to reshape a role and leave your footprint!
You will set up the new Instrumentation and Control department within Exyte Central Europe (CE) to build technical capabilities in process and building automation
You will prepare a department strategy related to the scope of I&C projects and the competencies of employees
Oversee and manage resource planning and resource deployment in the relevant branches within CE
Conduct cold eye reviews on I&C projects
Contribute to proposal management, preparation and review
Monitor project execution performance and initiate corrective actions as required
You will also actively participate in projects as an I&C Senior Engineer, managing and controlling external engineering subcontractors or construction subcontractors
Experience in a complex technical environment like process automation and I&C’s and a technical training background (e.g. Technical Engineer, BSc, Technician or BEng)
You have good knowledge of building law, VOB, rules and technology as well as management experience within the construction industry
With your broad knowledge from many inter-/multinational projects, you convince with your deep technical knowledge of complex endeavors, experience in design and realization of process control and process automation solutions as well as Commissioning of the facilities
Working knowledge in PLC hardware and software design and concepts as well as in Siemens, Yokogawa, On/Off and ABB automation software complete your profile
As the leader of your team you are an active, positive and supportive contributor who builds consensus and resolves conflicts, but also enables people to develop their skills and abilities
You are customer orientated, building long-lasting relationships with customers and also know how to build your network internally within the company
You possess strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English and impress with your exceptional organization and coordination skills
