Technical Service Manager
This position reports to the Marketing Country organization, under the Technical and training solutions direction and is internally in direct contact with the Marketing Team (Marketing Department, Technical Department), and Sales teams (collision, commercial transportation and light industrial coating sales representatives and technicians) and externally with customers using PPG products and solutions (distributors and independent/OEM bodyshops).
Qualifications:
· Degree in chemistry or engineering
· Paint chemistry expert
· High technical skills and appetite
· High sense of teamwork, in particular with operations marketing team and sale force
· Market and customer oriented, good vision of market needs
· Reactivity, capacity to move fast and take decision in order to satisfy customers
· Capacity to analyze, rigor and synthesis sense
· Capacity to prepare, write and present orally
· Excellent communication and relationship
· English mandatory : active participation in meetings with EMEA and/or teams
· Computer/software skills (Color software, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel)
· Minimum 50% of his time being itinerant on the field (technical support on customer site, training sale force teams, internal or external technical meetings)
