Would you be interested in joining the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) as an interim via Randstad Italia? We are looking for a Scientific Officer to work in the Front Desk Unit.

responsabilità

• Formulating advice on the rules and content for an application for regulated products; 
• Formulating answers to requests from applicants in line with legislation and EFSA's guidance documents; 
• Ensuring proper document management, also via the dossier submission tools and case management software;
• Working on the update and creation of administrative guidance documents; 
• Participating in all the activities of Team Advice.

competenze

• Excellent knowledge of English (at least B2 or above);
• At least 1 year of experience in scientific coordination within international organisations;
• Academic background in the area of novel foods, nutrition, regulatory science;
• Behavioural competencies: ability to communicate effectively, ability to work in a team as well flexibility, ability to set priorities and to ensure deadlines are met;
• Proficiency in IT tools, standard office software and electronic management of documents and data.

Assignment: initial contract of 4 months, with possibility of extensions. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.

Salary: approx €3400 per month before taxes.

Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from Parma, Italy for the remaining days.
