ROLE DETAILS
My client is a space technology company that focuses on nanosatellite technologies. They design, manufacture, and launch their hardware into space that connect with IOT devices on earth.
As an Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development, testing, and optimization of hardware/firmware components and systems that drive their cutting-edge technology solutions.
Your expertise will be integral to ensuring the seamless integration of hardware and software applications, ultimately contributing to our mission of delivering innovative products and services.
- You will bridge the gap between our space technologies documentation and our clients.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to integrate and interface hardware components into software applications and systems.
- Adapt to clients needs by understanding their technical issues and communicating closely with the technical team to resolve those problems
- Work with technical documentation across hardware design specifications, test procedures, and user guides to facilitate the understanding and utilization of the hardware components.
- Offer technical support to internal teams and customers, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting hardware-related issues, and implementing improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of hardware components.
- Occasional travel to conferences and events where you will contribute to representing the company and discussing technical documentation.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in communicating between internal technical teams and clients
- An understanding of resolving technical issues across hardware, firmware & software
- Professional Italian & English language
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with space-related technologies, including satellite communication, remote sensing, or space mission planning.
