Position Summary
We are looking for a talented Mechatronic or Electronic Engineer, as a member of Engineering Project Management Team , with passion for e-drives who wants to grow his/her skills in this discipline in strong collaboration with other Engineering technical domains (motor development, hardware, software).
To grow as an Engineering Project Lead permits you to learn and build a solid approach to manage the engineering efforts of major projects in mechatronics or Electric Vehicle Integration.
In the RFI/RFQ phase, he/she leads the Engineering Department in providing the required technical information, understanding the customer needs and translating them into technical requirements through the collection of the right information (requirements), doing the product sizing and/or supporting the identification of the most suitable product for the customer.
You will be responsible for delivering the solution and for supervising all the engineering and prototyping aspects of the project, including schedule, quality and costs.

The job responsibilities will be very varied as they will address many aspects of the growing Mechatronics and Electrification group and will include some of the following responsibilities but not limited to.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible as lead/support of Advanced Portfolio, RFQ/RFI Planning and execution, department financial planning, etc.
- Become an expert in Low Voltage Systems providing optimal solutions to customer needs for mobile machines
- Translate customer needs into Stakeholder Requirements to be used to define efforts and timing for new product development
- Facilitate process implementation and improvement in accordance with the standard model (CMMI, ASPICE).
- Ensure the projects are launched on-time and meet deliverables
- Follow engineering process requirements, create and maintain require documentations
- Manage issue and change tracking and coordinate with all stakeholders
- Coordinate and present project status updates to leadership
- Direct the effort to define the project charter, scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Apply multiple engineering project management methods and skills to tailor the execution of projects of varying scopes and implementation plans
- Creates and manages R&D budgets related to development and estimate product cost ensuring target financial goals are achieved
- Support purchasing with supplier identification, technical discussions, and timeline reviews
Job position requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic/Electronic.
- 3-5 years' experience in electronic design or mechatronics projects development. Alternatively, a proven relevant application engineering experience from AC or PM Drives systems or power electronics (e.g., AC Inverter, Solar Inverter, UPS or Wind-Power).
Hard Skills
Essential :
- Good spoken and written English.
- Technical background in mechatronics products.
- Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge about electric vehicles and mobile machines applications.
- Functional testing skills of electronic equipment.
- Documentation & reporting skills, using the standard Microsoft tools.
Hard Skills
Considered as a plus :
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and its applicability on embedded systems.
- Electric motors, motor control and power electronic skills.
- Communication protocol (J1939, CANopen).
- Product Development in accordance with functional safety standards.
- Accuracy on project deliveries following internal processes.
- Skills regarding Functional Safety for electric vehicles.
Soft Skills
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and think forward.
- Able to work focused on targets, take responsibility and able to drive project results.
- Able to work independently and cooperatively with a largely diverse cross functional group and international multi-cultural environment.
