W Rome is casting for a seasonal Style Supervisor / Housekeeping Supervisor to join the first W Hotel in Italy. Reporting to the Director of Style, the Style Supervisor is in charge of coordinating housekeeping activities.

What you'll do

• Co-ordinate housekeeping activity, planning and distributing room-cleaning assignments
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues and missing or damaged property
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities, specially laundry activities
• Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards. Communicate issues to next shift.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
• Support team to reach common goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Housekeeper Manager.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and the St. Regis brand guidelines

What we’re looking for

• At least intermediate Italian and English
• Previous housekeeping supervisor experience in a luxury or lifestyle hotel
• Understanding of rooms operations, luxury hospitality standards and outsourcing companies
• Ideally, technical knowledge of Opera, GXP
• Reliability, Motivation, attention to details
• Strong passion for luxury housekeeping standards and procedures
