Job description
RINA is currently recruiting for a System Engineerto join its office in Genova within the RINA Marine Digital Solutions Division.
Mission
The System Engineer develop and maintain the scripts for the installation of new software, the deployment of new releases for existing software, and the ongoing support of applications throughout their lifecycle. This role involves understanding business requirements, evaluating vendor provisions, and implementing efficient automation solutions. #LI-GZ1
Key Accountabilities
- System activity on RINA Digital devices and RINA cloud Servers
- Support activities and deploy/update software of RINA Digital solutions
- Maintain and develop system solutions to improve process performances
- Meeting with clients and support to internal stakeholders
- Study implementation of new projects
Qualifications
- Good Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
- Basic knowledge of automation protocols: ModBus and NMEA
- Knowledge of VPN tools and other remote maintenance tools as Team-viewer
- Linux OS shell advance knowledge
- Good Knowledge of Linux networking (DNS, IP, SSH tunneling, SSL/TLS, routing
- Linux OS shell advance knowledge and bash scripting
- Good Python scripting
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English language
- Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational capabilities
- Problem-solving and Teamwork
- Flexibility/adaptability
- A plus is the knowledge of data bricks and Microsoft power-bi
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Systems
