We are looking for a young resource to join our Communications department in Taormina Mare. The figure will provide support to the Communications Executive in the daily activities with media and press staying at Villa Sant’Andrea, Belmond property in Taormina, as well as in the managing of Communications/PR projects in collaboration with corporate Communications/PR teams.
Duration: 6 months
Main duties:
- Support the organization of individual press visits in the hotels under the supervision of the Communications Executive;
- Lead site inspections of the properties with journalists and travel agents under the supervision of the Communications Executive;
- Support in the communication to the press of brand messages and stories about the hotel;
- Gather, check and process of press clippings on a regular base;
- Support the organization of press trips and events, the creation of communication campaigns, the promotion of events with media and clients;
- Support the creation of marketing materials and contents for social media channels
- Support in organizing and handling photo/video shootings.
Requirements
- Higher education (Graduate or Undergraduate), preferably in PR, marketing or
communication;
- PC literate (Microsoft suite and social media tools);
- Outstanding communication skills, fluent in English and Italian both verbal and written;
- Team player, flexibility, organization and time management skills.
