We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CutOver/GoLive Project Manager for a critical 4month contract. This individual will be responsible for orchestrating the shutoff of Salesforce during a large consolidation/migration ensuring a seamless transition to the new system. The successful candidate will possess a strong project management background technical expertise and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed plans for a 23 day shutoff of Salesforce managing the consolidation/migration process.
- Plan and execute cutoff activities establishing alternative paths for the organization during system shutdown.
- Conduct regular standups with businessfacing stakeholders ensuring alignment and shared responsibility.
- Create a comprehensive golive project checklist addressing technical infrastructure staffing and support team readiness.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and establish a robust rollback plan to mitigate potential issues.
- Ensure technical infrastructure is in place for the production environment.
- Coordinate staffing considering holidays and potential absences to ensure critical staff availability.
- Brief support teams and helpdesk on their roles during the golive period.
- Produce and circulate a detailed golive plan.
- Verify completion of business acceptance testing and address any outstanding issues.
- Develop and circulate a contact list for effective communication during the project.
- Draft and gain approval for communications about the launch.
- Review major risks and make decisions on their potential impact on project timelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager specifically leading cutover and golive activities.
- Indepth knowledge of Salesforce and experience with largescale consolidations/migrations.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with technical infrastructure and the ability to ensure its readiness.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and the development of comprehensive rollback plans.
- Ability to conduct standups and facilitate collaboration among businessfacing stakeholders.
- Detailoriented with a focus on creating and executing meticulous project plans.
