Job description
Qascom is looking for an Embedded C++ Software Engineer within the Aerospace & Defence domain, based in our office in Bassano del Grappa. The candidate will be involved in the development of the next-gen of Qascom receiver and RF signal generation products for Earth, space and Moon Navigation, supporting major National and International projects. Responsibilities: Design, development and test of optimized / real-time software in C++, for signal generation products. Cooperation with the internal and external entities responsible for the development and validation of the hardware platforms: i.e., software defined radio equipment based on Xilinx Zynq and/or Ultrascale and Analog Transceivers. Contribution to the update the software, documentation, and configuration. Support to Technical management of software projects, involving interactions with customers (major aerospace industries and space agencies). Requirements: Master’s degree in computer science, software, or telecommunication engineering. 2y+ years of experience as software developer (1y+ years on embedded devices). Knowledge of Linux Embedded and real time operating systems Experience with testing frameworks (i.e: GTest, Catch2, Boost.Test, Unity) and TDD. Knowledge of CMake, C and Modern C++ Knowledge of Git tools.
