Job description

RINA is currently recruiting for a Product Assurance and Safety Engineerto join its office in Milano within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

The resource will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of product assurance and the related safety engineering and management program. 

Main Activities to be performed: 

• Preparing and implementing technical documentation and requirements starting from the applicable product and quality assurance baseline. 

• Performing tailoring and statement of compliance on project requirements. 

• Ensuring compliance of the product with respect to internal and external standards and requirements. 

• Supporting to monitor and report about supplier PA&S program execution to ensure compliance with applicable requirements; this includes auditing activities. 

• Managing non-conformances, their solution and analysis of root causes. 

Key Accountabilities

• 1-3 years of experience working within a Quality Assurance environment;

• Experience with ISO9001 and/or EN9100 standard is considered an asset;

• Experience with Space Quality Standards is considered a plus.

Education

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering
