We have an excellent opportunity for a internship role in our Legal department. The role will be based In Florence offices and will have the opportunity to work in an international and stimulating work environment alongside talented professionals.

Reporting to the General Counsel the Legal Affairs Specialist will be involved in the following activities:

A) CREDIT COLLECTION

- Contacting customers to remind them to pay (by email and certified mail);

- If the conditions are met, prepare repayment plans and manage them, monitoring - in conjunction with the administrative department - compliance with instalment deadlines and their collection;

- Collect the documentation required for the initiation of monitoring actions (collection of invoices, orders, contracts, request for authenticated extracts, request for asset investigations, etc.);

- Communicating with external law firms and monitoring the judicial activity initiated;

- Archiving digital or paper documentation.

B) PUBLISHING CONTRACTS

- Support in reviewing and negotiating publishing contracts;

- Updating the archiving management system and coordinating with the related offices;

- Monitoring deadlines and renewals.

C) MONITORING COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENTS

- Support in the identification and management of copyright infringements.

D) PRIVACY

- Support in the drafting and archiving of privacy documentation

- Law degree;

- Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English (B1).

- Knowledge of civil law and civil procedure law;

- Good knowledge of computer systems;

- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills;

- Communication and time organisation skills;

- Strong results orientation;

- Enthusiasm and strong motivation;

- Reliability and transparency;

- Resistance to stress;

- Previous experience in debt-collection companies or in the debt-collection departments of medium-structured companies will be an asset.
