Technical Consultant
Being part of an international project delivery team for EMEA, and responsible for supporting installation and upgrades of the Radiology Informatics solutions across the EMEA Region. You will be collaborating with Technical Leads, Project Managers and customers beside local technical consultants and R&D teams, and will have the responsibility to ensure proper delivery of the solution according to solution design, statement of work and ensuring the proper quality standards.
Your role:
- Interact with R&D team for the troubleshooting and root cause analysis, in case the issue arises during the implementation process
- Elevates most severe escalations to Senior Leadership for awareness and support, both in BU and market
- Ensures feedback and safety allegations are submitted as to the stakeholders
- Develops and delivers knowledge sharing and technical seminars together with the respective BG/market to improve field/remote Specialists productivity and effectiveness.
- Scoping, designing, building, deploying and/or integrating solutions
- Fulfilling software implementation deliverables such as detailed system build, configuration and testing
- Analyzes the unique business, technical and clinical customer requirements to design, build and/or integrate the most appropriate solution
- Based on customer requirements, serves as a consultant to provide technical recommendations that best suit the environment
- Mentors and trains customers to maintain their systems
- Is a customer advocate and leverages insights to drive product decisions
- Resolve technical issues and offer proactive technical support
- Documentation of solutions to ensure support teams and other consultants can participate in support and onward development
- Contributes to the collective learning of Philips, seeking to share knowledge globally; assesses and shares repeatable processes that can be leveraged across multiple projects
- Practices strong configuration management and version control
- Execute activities as described in the Philips Excellence Process Framework
- Is a key member of the implementation project and/or service team; fosters collaboration through sharing experiences, information, perspectives, skills and expertise
- Drives continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on customer feedback
- Represents Philips professionally in both customer and internal team situations
You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor Degree/Master Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field
- Good programming skills, ideally 1-2 years experience with Database and SQL code, scripting languages such as Perl, PowerShell etc.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server operating system
- Good Knowledge of Infrastructure technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, Server and storage technologies
- Intermediate knowledge of networking
- Good knowledge of ORACLE Database as a plus
- Problem solving, analytical approach
- Team working attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
