Job description
Role Summary
As an Executive / Senior Executive you will be responsible for logistics and operations including RFQ execution freight forwarder selection documentation ontime goods receipt shipping plans cost savings and finance coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Coordination: Manage endtoend logistics operations of both import and domestic including procurement transportation warehousing and distribution and Execute the RFQ in Logistics & packaging and negotiation.
- Supplier Selection: Identify the right Import freight forwarders / Logistics partners & Transporters for material movement & collaborate with shipping partners to streamline cargo movement.
- Documentation Compliance: Documentation related to logistics (E waybill Delivery challan Packaging list & POD verification) & adherence to Customs import/export regulations and documentation.
- Good Knowledge in IGCR & Duty Exemption activities
- Vendor Relations: Build strong relationships with suppliers carriers and service providers.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for efficiency enhancement and implement best practices.
- Ensure on time receipt of Goods from supplier to support various business needs.
- Expert in dynamic shipping plan.
- Knowledge on various kinds of packaging methods and application of it. Work on continuous logistics savings.
- Coordinate with finance team to release the Purchase order and payment on time to receive items from supplier.
- Should be selfdriven and deliver results according to business needs.
- Should be skilful for handling reverse Logistics.
- Cost Control: Monitor logistics costs and propose costeffective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 35 years in logistics preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
Open to travel across India.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and scope and priorities.
