Job description
Qascom is looking for a Space System Engineer within the Aerospace & Defence domain, based in our office in Bassano del Grappa. The resource will be involved in all system engineering activities relevant to Qascom’s project in the Space domain. Among others: system engineering activities for the design, development and test of complete GNSS payloads for LEO and deep Space/Moon application. Responsibilities: Defining, allocating, consolidating, maintaining and verifying system and interface requirements, while ensuring traceability and coherence with and technical and programmatic constraints; Establishing, consolidating, maintaining and analyzing all system technical budgets (e.g. Link Budget, Power Budget, Data Budget etc.) throughout the project development; Defining, preparing and coordinating verification activities, including defining and executing test procedures and reporting results; Supporting functional and environmental test activities in different local, national and international test premises and/or facilities; Supporting the Head of Division and the Sales Department in the preparation of Technical Proposals for future projects. This includes, as an example, the definition of preliminary system architectures, establishment of development and verification plans, the definition of system validation activities.
