Job description
SMS group S.p.A., a company of the German group SMS, a worldwide leading company for plant and machinery manufacturing in the steelmaking and non-ferrous material industry, is looking for an Automation Engineer.
Activities:
The development of automation solutions mainly focus to equipment control: VVVF motors, Hydraulic unit and stands, MCC, safety management for plants of rolling mills and processing lines;
Takeover of the programming Lev1 software and the associated tests including the functional commissioning at our customer’s premises;
Participation and leading of meetings with SMS internal team, Customers, Sub-Suppliers.
Requirements:
Graduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with fundamental knowledge in Power supply, Drives, Motors, Instrumentation’s;
Proof of programming competence in the PLC Automation-Systems (S7-TIA , S7-400);
Analytical competence and ability to work in a team;
Very good English language skills;
Knowledge of MS Office;
Willingness to travel worldwide;
Drive license.
