POSITION SUMMARY

This position leads a group of System Application engineering supervisors engineers and resident engineers that integrates coordinates and manages electronics and instrumentation projects on system level.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for assigning appropriate system program lead for each project being awarded.

• Responsible for deploying resident engineer functions for each project.

• Responsible for RFI/RFQs

• Should have strong knowledge in Product Development Life Cycle

• Should have strong knowledge in DFMEA

• Awareness of Functional Safety Requirements (ISO26262)

• System Architecture Identification of Vehicle Interfaces

• UML Design Using Tool Enterprise Architect Rhapsody MATLab Modelling

• Awareness of Requirement Risk & Change Management

• Ensures each APQP milestones are met for projects being managed.

• Ensures BOM costs are properly maintained for projects being managed.

• Facilitate solving development conflicts with other projects department or the outside.

• Ensures that the department design processes and practices are followed

• Responsible for group members skill development.

• Responsible for balancing group members workload

• Manage priorities for the teams ensuring timely task completion

• Manage solving program development issues and avoid recurring program issues.

• Responsible for hiring and training of group associates.

• Responsible for forecasting and managing the group and project budget.

• Domain Background Instrument Panel Cluster ADAS CDC Infotainment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Degree Requirements:

B.E B. Tech. or equivalent

Certification Requirements:

None

Previous Experience:

14 years of automotive related or equivalent electrical/electronics production design

experience

Travel Requirements:

As required (short term)

On Call Requirements:

As required (Overtime)
