Job description
Tailor&Fox - your HR Business Partner - on behalf of our Client, an important company in the Como area, we are searching for:
PROCESS ENGINEER
Reporting to the Quality and processing engineer, you will be responsible to drive productivity and process improvements including SPS – internal W.C.M. (World Class Manufacturing) concepts and major divisional initiatives in order to improve manufacturing performance.
Main Activities
· Develop, implement and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement, working with employees to establish S.O.P.'s and S.O.C.'s for sustainable improvements.
· Maximize productivity and profit, ensuring consistent quality and efficient production costs.
· Apply Six Sigma to increase productivity and reduce scrap.
· Develop and manage productivity and process improvement projects.
· Conduct safety observations during plant visits and stimulate reporting of hazardous situations.
· Work with supervisors and machine leaders to develop skills in using new tools and support improved processes.
· Lead performance system (SPS) implementation.
· Play a key role in Pillar as part of Focus Improvement (FI) methodologies.
· 2 / 3 years of experience in engineering role in structured manufacturing companies
· Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Materials Eng. or Mechanical Eng.)
· Fluent in English communication
