As a Proofreader you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our companys written materials. Your keen eye for spotting errors and your ability to maintain consistency will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional content to our clients.
Responsibilities: - Thoroughly review and proofread a wide range of written materials including marketing collateral reports policies and other company documents
- Identify and correct errors in grammar punctuation spelling and formatting
- Ensure consistency in style tone and brand voice across all written materials
- Collaborate with writers editors and designers to ensure clarity and accuracy in content
- Review and provide feedback on drafts ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry standards
- Maintain and update the companys style guide and proofreading checklist
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Suggest improvements to enhance the overall quality of written materials
Skills Required:
- Bachelors degree in English Journalism Communications or a related field
- Proven experience as a professional proofreader or editor
- Strong knowledge of grammar punctuation spelling and style guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback
