Job Overview :
As a seasoned PL/SQL Developer with 45 years of experience you will play a pivotal role in the development testing implementation and maintenance of robust PL/SQL code for Oracle databases. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with crossfunctional teams including database administrators and software developers to design and optimize database queries stored procedures and functions.
Responsibilities :
Database Development :
- Design develop and implement efficient PL/SQL code for Oracle databases.
- Create and optimize database queries stored procedures triggers and functions.
- Ensure data integrity and elevate performance through meticulous SQL query finetuning.
Database Maintenance :
- Execute routine database maintenance tasks including indexing backup and recovery.
- Monitor database performance promptly identifying and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with database administrators to optimize database structures.
Code Testing and Optimization :
- Conduct thorough testing of PL/SQL code to identify and rectify bugs.
- Optimize queries for maximum efficiency and superior performance.
- Work closely with software developers to seamlessly integrate database functionality with applications.
Documentation :
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all PL/SQL code and database structures.
- Document database design data dictionaries and adhere to coding standards.
Collaboration :
- Collaborate seamlessly with crossfunctional teams including software developers system analysts and database administrators.
- Actively participate in code reviews providing valuable and constructive feedback.
Requirements :
Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Technical Skills :
- Proficient in PL/SQL development with a strong command of Oracle database architecture and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
Experience :
- Proven track record as a PL/SQL Developer or in a similar role.
