Job Description
This objective of this role is to lead the country finances with leadership expertise, operational excellence and customer focused attitude. The scope will be to ensure the country operates in accordance to and in compliance with corporate financial guidelines and structure.
Main responsibilities:
Management
• Leading the finance team and collaborating with various stakeholders in the country.
• Participating actively in business decision-making processes by providing data input and analysis.
• Ensuring a healthy cash flow by effective management of working capital
•To ensure compliance with local tax rules and regulations
•Development of the team for succession planning.
•Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and capitalizing on opportunities.
•Corresponding with other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future path to be taken.
Operational
•Maintain the financial health of the local organization.
•Preparation of budgets, cost analysis and trends / projections for the financials.
•Liaising with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of local finances is maintained.
•Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being implemented and used.
•Solid knowledge and exposure to key statutory legislation and regulations.

Job Requirements
•Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Finance Manager
•Experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry within previous possible roles.
•Extensive knowledge and understanding of financial trends within the market and industry.
•Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
•Proficient user of different accounting software ( Microsoft AX, SAP, Oracle, etc… )
•Professional qualifications such as CFA/CPA or similar will be a plus.
