Job description

Position Summary: Location Uruli Kanchan India The Raw Material Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely and effective planning of raw materials to support the company's sales objectives. Utilizing planning and execution software systems, the role involves generating purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, tracking supply orders, and ensuring timely fulfillment of the company's supply plans.

Essential Job Functions: Develop weekly/monthly/annual supply plans for finished goods (FG) and raw materials (RM) and generate purchase orders accordingly. Coordinate shipping instructions with the international logistics team and ensure timely order pickups and arrivals. Confirm purchase orders with local vendors, including details such as delivery dates and quantities. Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and cross-functional team members. Monitor for potential stock-outs due to purchasing delays and ensure timely goods delivery. Maintain digital and physical files of proof of delivery (POD) documents. Perform order processing tasks such as PGI, creating Remitos, releases forms, and COT. Expedite purchase orders and deliveries as needed to ensure material availability. Collaborate with warehouse operators to facilitate smooth transaction processing. Conduct periodic stock-takes and reconcile variances across various warehouse locations. Ensure compliance with local regulations for documents associated with shipments. Coordinate transportation of goods between suppliers, manufacturers, and customers. Manage data entry in SAP and support demand fulfillment. Monitor FG inventory levels and customer depletions in coordination with the planning team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. Over 5 years of experience in Inventory Management, Planning, or Supply Chain. Extensive experience in Sales and Operations, including demand forecasting and machine capacity planning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Experience with ERP software, preferably SAP, and strong understanding of MRP and S&OP processes. Fluent in English.
