Role Description This is a remote contract role for a GoLang/Full Stack Software Development Agency for software maintenance takeover at Trademarkia. The Software Development Agency will be responsible for day-to-day software development tasks including programming, database management, and Linux administration. The Software Development Agency will also be responsible for working on Java and other projects. Key Responsibilities : Take full management responsibility for the Trademarkia website, including but not limited to its architecture, development, maintenance, and optimization. Evaluate and optimize the current CI/CD pipelines, code deployment protocols, and engineering practices to enhance agility, efficiency, and performance. Conduct thorough assessments of adherence to best practices in software development, focusing on agile methodologies and embodying the hallmarks of successful engineering organizations. Recommend and implement improvements in the technology stack and infrastructure to ensure the platform's optimal performance and scalability. Lead a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and efficient, scalable solutions. Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of the platform through best practices in software development and infrastructure management. Qualifications Software Development and Programming skills Experience working with Databases and Linux administration Proficiency in Java Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and remotely Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical team members and management Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Experience in trademark law and intellectual property is a plus Requirements : Proven experience in managing and optimizing web platforms, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects. Expert-level knowledge in our core technology stack: Go language, PostgreSQL, and Next.js. Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, code deployment protocols, and modern engineering practices. Deep understanding of agile methodologies and best practices in software development. Leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team of developers. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering efficient and scalable solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
