Job Description for MEP Quantity Estimation
Engineer Qualification & Experience Diploma or B.E. in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) with 47 Years of relevant experience in the MEP Industry.
Role Summary: This resource would be responsible for Estimation of MEP Packages Coordination with Design and Contract team of MEP Works Vendor coordination and Resolution of quantity related queries Strategic Initiatives Process Compliance. MEP Estimation Prepare MEP BOQ in required format Prepare Quantity breakup as per project requirement.
Well versed with Plumbing Fire HVAC and Electrical Package.
Experience in with Residential projects.
Well versed with reading AutoCAD drawings
Well versed with Contract Conditions.
Budgetary Estimates and cost comparisons
Value Engineering initiatives
Material Rates and Item Rate Analysis Knowledge of MEP SOPs Work Method Statements
Wellversed with best practices in Quality and safety.
Knowledge of taxation w.r.t Construction Contracts and Procurement.
Request for Proposals (RFP)Cross Functional Coordination Coordination with Regional Teams and other functions viz. Design Engineering Planning Costing / Budgeting Legal Finance.
Tracking Variations to Contract Extra items Tracking Contract Amendments w.r.t Quantity Amendment
Rate analysis Claims settlement and dispute resolution h Do Site Visits whenever required.
Skills Proficient in Excel and latest MS Office suites Familiar with AutoCAD and various Quantity estimation tools Proficient in Communication(verbal and written).
