Job Description

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing complex, cross-functional, engineering projects. They will work closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment of technical objectives and project delivery. They will also interface with stakeholders across the organization to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead complex technical programs, coordinating with engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage program schedules, identifying risks, and clear communications.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate meetings for technical decision-making.
  • Track progress, understand dependencies, and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management within a technical environment.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale technical programs and delivering results.
  • Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving technical decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
