Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the supply chain.
- Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team.
- Provide direction, guidance, and coaching to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the SCM team.
- Supplier Management:
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms for the company.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Implement effective inventory control and demand forecasting processes.
- Logistics and Distribution:
- Optimize logistics and distribution networks for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain.
- Develop contingency plans to address disruptions and minimize impact on operations.
- Technology and Process Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in supply chain technology.
- Implement and leverage technology solutions to improve SCM processes and efficiency.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain ethical and sustainable supply chain practices.
- Performance Metrics:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and improve supply chain performance.
- Regularly review and report on the performance of the supply chain function to the executive team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering & Masters in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, etc.) is preferred.
- Proven experience in supply chain management in EPC , with a track record of successful leadership.
- 10 to 15 Year's of SCM
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and procurement.
- Familiarity with relevant technology and software used in supply chain management.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
