Position Overview:

As a Creative Director at upGrad, you'll be responsible for steering our creative vision, leading a talented team of creatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality and innovative design solutions across various mediums for the International markets - Singapore, Vietnam, and U.S.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee the creative vision, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and brand identity.

- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of designers, artists, copywriters, and other creatives.

- Project Direction: Provide direction and guidance throughout all stages of project development, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client or company expectations.

- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate creative strategies into broader business objectives.

- Resource Management: Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring efficiency and optimal utilization of talent and tools.

- Brand Development: Drive brand consistency and evolution, refining brand assets, and ensuring a cohesive brand identity across all touchpoints.

- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

- Content Mandate:

- Develop and create clear, persuasive, and original copy for various marketing materials including, but not limited to, websites, advertisements, social media, emails, and product descriptions.

- Collaborate with the various teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines.

- Conduct thorough research to understand industry trends, market needs, and competition to inform writing strategies.

- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

- Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and projects.

- Adapt writing style and tone as necessary for different platforms and audiences.

Requirements:

- 7-8 years proven experience as a Copywriter

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio showcasing various writing styles and formats.

- Understanding of SEO and proficiency in keyword usage.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, take constructive feedback, and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field (preferred but not required).
