Job Profile
Engineer with 20+ years of experience in Offshore industry (preferably worked for Operators in India)
· Serve as the primary point of contact for the client or operator of the rig.
· Update clients on the progress of operations, any issues encountered, and proposed solutions.
· Responsible for managing all emergencies that may occur on the rig in accordance with the company policies and procedure
· Holds budget accountability for operation and maintenance for the rig
· Participate in and delegate regular inspections and audits to ensure the rig's safety and conformance to company policies.
· Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all incidents
· Ensure operations are organized and pla nned to be executed safety as per client requirement
· Maintain open communication with all personnel onboard the rig including client and fosters a safety culture on the rig
· Delegate supervisory responsibilities for the management of rig activities
· Personally demonstrate a commitment to safety and protection of the environment
· Support initiatives that contribute to continuous improvement of the HSE management system and HSE performance
· Ensure that equipment integrity is maintained on the rig
· Ensure clear and comprehensive handovers are maintained with relief and monitor the handovers of other key supervisors onboard the rig.
