Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant- Senior Technical Project Manager
In this role, the successful candidate will have technical leadership responsibilities for a team of 40 highly qualified Database Developers including a smaller team of production support DBAs and a larger group of highly skilled database developers. The role requires expertise with customer relationship management, Risk management, PM activities, and experience with driving process improvement.
. Lead team of highly trained Database developers and ensure quality work product
. Communicate effectively with customers, leadership and engineers
. Drive process excellence including in Safe Agile practices and release/deployment
. Organize shift schedules for production support as well as coordinating with US & India teams for ensuring around the clock coverage on critical issues.
. Identify risks early, derive mitigation strategies and implement the same taking all stakeholders along.
. Mentor and grow engineers into leadership functions.
. Project Management experience.
. Data Engineering experience.
. Hands-on TSQL coding experience.
. Risk Management experience,
. Agile Development Process experience, including some experience in Scrum Master role.
. Release Management knowledge. Continuous Integration & deployment knowledge.
. Past experience in Production support environments, both as IC (individual contributor) and as leader is required.
. Incidents/Outage management knowledge
. Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, Snowflake are nice to have
. Having been in Pager duty and/or managed people in pager duty is a nice to have.
. Past experience in consulting or driving process improvement
