Job description

Gross to Net (GTN) Sales reporting:-

1. Leading the team which is responsible for ensuring completeness, accuracy & assurance for NAG business revenue [gross sales of $ 4 Bn & net sales of $ $ 1.3 Bn]. Striving for excellence in GTN process improvement.
2. Enabling and guiding the team to carry out the more realistic, accurate and timely true-ups for customer inventory reconciliation (852 reco) and sales return. Accounting for chargebacks, sales returns, direct/indirect rebates, value incentive rebates, shelf stock adjustments, product recall, and other GTN components in line with the contractual agreements, inventory levels with wholesalers, and other relevant factors.
3. Review of profit share payable to partners basis the various clauses in the agreements; explore the opportunities within the ambit of executed agreements for optimization of pay-outs and recoupments, if any.
4. Appropriate analysis & accounting of non-routine transactions in line with the accounting framework, closure of the transactions with Corporate Finance/auditors and ensuring the GAAP compliant financials.
5. Quarterly GTN presentation to CFO encompassing significant & critical GTN transactions.

Business partnering, Analytics, Commercial Insights & Adhoc requirements:-

1. Evaluation of the possible impact of every change in pricing structure leading to more meaning decision making. Carry out the analytics and bring insights on the product/customer performances with respect to WAC reduction, pricing restructuring, inventory holding & certain other areas.
2. Analysis and reasons for change in DSO and providing inputs on overdue receivables, advanced chargebacks that enable corrective actions, if any. Continuous efforts to keep DSO at optimum level and reduction in working capital by way of WAC reductions.
3. Evaluation of business acquisition proposals for GTN structure, channel liability exposure, and post-acquisition monitoring and integration & co-ordinate with the business partners to resolve the differences.
4. Ensuring compliance with the pricing provisions defined as per the contractual terms with key customers & providing timely updates on the exceptions to the top management for decision making.
5. Sales returns process refinements ensuring less true-up impact at quarter end. Analysis and insights for major products every quarter and sharing the same with business to monitor sales return.
6. Annual validation for estimates like sales returns, sales cut-off, ECL.
7. Timely support for information requests from front office and corporate - Legal on product litigations.

Audit & Compliance:-

1. Engaging & ensuring successful closure of statutory audits, internal audits, SoX audits, audits initiated by customers & in-licensing deal partners.
2. SOX documentation and compliance for OTC/FSCP related processes.
3. Quarterly review and update of SOP documents.
