Job Title

Manager, Project Management

Common Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the budget, performance and results of a medium-sized team or multiple teams of employees. Influences the resource, budget and policy planning and sets concrete development plans for the team members.
  • Has a mid/long-term vision of the activity and the business, influences the department's strategy based on a broad understanding of the environment. Exposed to complex decision making.
  • Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, escalating issues only when necessary.

Overall accountabilities

  • Part of the Cloud Migration Control Center Team (CMCC) that industrializes, optimizes and secures overall applications cloud migrations
  • Processes enhancements (change management, Go/No Go, business continuity,..):
  • to work on some tasks already described in CMCC Kanban Boards.
  • to improve processes based on cutover experiences.
  • strong interaction/coordination with various Amadeus and Microsoft Teams
  • Migration Execution
  • Liaise with application teams to organize/participate/monitor cutovers
  • Provide status and KPIs on progress of the migration
  • Around 500 applications have to be migrated to the Cloud

Required Skills

  • Cloud Knowledge in particular on Platform
  • Good project management experience
  • Very good soft and hard communication skills
  • Resilient, Autonomous and Rigorous is a must have
  • Ability to work with the team in place (in both Nice and Bangalore) and under high level of exposure / pressure
  • Pro active
  • Experience in Amadeus Product Implementations is a plus

Specific Accountabilities

  • Refine and finalize the Project scope statement as the basis for the future project decisions.
  • Size the project.
  • Estimate and identify resources.
  • Build and manage the Project Core Team.
  • Identify all activities necessary to produce all project deliverables.
  • Identify quality measures.
  • Evaluate project risks and propose mitigation actions.
  • Commit on scope, planning and budget.
  • Validate project plans.
  • Optimize and control overall project performance (schedule, budget and quality).
  • Raise alerts and find solutions.
  • Communicate and report to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize the knowledge transfer during the Transition Phase.
  • For external projects, customer relationship responsibilities such as contract and contract change negotiation and management are included.
