Job Title – Design Head
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Design Head for Interior to lead
our design team in creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. The ideal
candidate should have a strong background in interior design, excellent leadership skills, and a
proven track record of delivering high-quality design projects. The Design Head will be responsible
for overseeing the entire design process, from concept development to project completion, and
ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
1- Leading the Design Team: Once the Pre-Qualified Lead is finalized by Marketing Team, The
Design Head is responsible for leading and managing the design team in the company. This
includes assigning tasks, setting goals, providing feedback and mentoring, and ensuring that the
team meets deadlines and produces high-quality work.
2- Overseeing the Design Process(Core Design Process): The Design Head oversees the entire
design process, from concept development to installation. They must ensure that all aspects of
the design, such as layout, color scheme, and materials, meet the client's requirements and are
within the customer's budget.
3- Communicating with Clients: The Design Head is responsible for communicating with clients to
understand their needs, preferences, and goals. They must be able to present design concepts
to clients and explain the reasoning behind each design decision.
4- Building client relationships: You would work closely with clients, building strong relationships
and ensuring that their needs are met throughout the design process.
5- Overseeing project management: You would oversee the project management process from
conception to completion, ensuring that timelines and budgets are met, and that the project is
delivered to the client's satisfaction. The Project Resources will be reporting to Design Head
6- Staying Up-to-Date with Industry Trends : The Design Head must keep up-to-date with the latest
design trends and innovations in the industry. They must be able to incorporate new ideas and
techniques into their design concepts to stay competitive in the market
7- Collaborating with Other Departments: You will work closely with other departments, including
sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that design projects are aligned with the company's
overall strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Proven experience (10 years) in interior design, with a focus on residential projects.
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful design projects.
Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and lead a creative team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape and related.
Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
