Responsibilities
● Execute on a roadmap for development of the design system design kit and content website
● Lead advice and decision-making for what is included in the design system
● Contribute to design system website content creation, page design and production processes
● Organize requests and contribution workflows derived from product experiences
● Collaborate closely with UX practitioners allocated to product design experiences for ingesting new patterns into the system
● Scale the design system for globalization, mobile and other business areas
● Design and produce a usable kit content in figma according to priorities
● Design components, patterns and interaction workflows in the figma design kit that demonstrate pattern and component behavior in context
● Collect and produce contextual examples and do’s and don’ts for reference in the design system website
● Incorporate user feedback for usability and content and experience enhancements of the website and design kit
● Adhere to accessibility standards and inclusive design and language principles for the system
● Manage synchronization and consistency of design kit and code library components and contribute to design and operational innovation
● Contribute to project specific product design work Qualifications
● 5+ years experience with interaction design and visual design of digital products● Proven experience creating design components, patterns and guidelines for design systems, showcased in a portfolio
● Expert proficiency in Figma design tool; this is essential for our design system
● Experience designing complex SaaS or enterprise software showcased in a portfolio
● Proficiency with executing the full UX design life cycle - from preliminary research through journey-mapping, persona development, prototyping, usability testing, and interaction design with all relevant planning and deliverables
● Fluent English (in speaking and writing)
● Experience with project leadership planning and vision development
