Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Type: Regular / Permanent, Full-time
Salary: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Job Description:
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our production floor. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a culture of safety and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving productivity and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Work Planning/Allocation:
- Coordinate production schedules to meet deadlines and customer demands.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to production team members based on skill level and workload.
- Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to optimize efficiency.
Productivity & Quality:
- Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to minimize defects and rework.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
Following 5s Protocols:
- Promote and enforce 5s principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Train and motivate team members to adhere to 5s protocols and best practices.
Weekly Reporting:
- Prepare and submit weekly production reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize production processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory setting, preferably in fabrication or machining works.
- Strong understanding of production processes and machinery.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
