Job description
This individual will contribute to the delivery of various products related to Exostar platform.
This individual must possess strong technical and analytical skills coupled with the interpersonal and communication skills to software development teams and various stake holders of the products.
This person must possess a strong background Software Development Life Cycle and Continuous integration tools and methodologies.
Essential/Fundamental Duties Responsibilities :
- Manage Delivery Teams - Delivery managers recruit, hire, train, and supervise delivery team members.
- Maintain Budget - Delivery managers also monitor and maintain the operational budget for the technology department.
- Maintain Deadlines - Delivery managers ensure that deliveries are made within strict deadlines
- Manage Customer Problems-As managers, these professionals answer questions for customers, track deliveries, and address customer complaints.
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent software development projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Define scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, design, and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and key metrics.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the program management team, driving the adoption of best practices and process improvements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives and drive alignment across the organization.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Education:
- Bacheloru0027s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 15+ years work experience with at least Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical program management or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban, as well as experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience managing remote and distributed teams is a plus.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Leadership Delivery managers supervise driver team members and exhibit excellent leadership and management skills
- Customer Service These managers also directly address customer complaints and problems, which requires good customer service skills
- Communication Delivery managers have strong verbal communication skills to speak to customers and delivery team members daily as well as good written communication skills to create detailed reports.
