Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee all aspects of SAP data migration projects, including planning, analysis, design, implementation, and post-migration support.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define data migration objectives and success criteria.
• Develop and implement robust data migration strategies leveraging SAP Data Services (BODS) and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) tools and methodologies.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of source data to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies.
• Design and implement data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workflows to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Develop data validation and reconciliation procedures to validate the accuracy and consistency of migrated data.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering their professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues and mitigate risks throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Document technical specifications, migration processes, and post-migration procedures for knowledge sharing and reference.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-15 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Data Migration IDQ Consultant, with a proven track record of successful data migration projects.
• Expertise in SAP Data Services (BODS) and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for data manipulation and automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex data challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Prior experience with SAP ERP systems and data migration projects is highly desirable.
• SAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g., SAP Data Services) are a plus.
