Job description



The Internationsl Business development Manager - Logistics is responsible for identifying & developing new business opportunities in the global logistics market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the international logistics industry and a proven track record of successful business development. The candidate will be responsible for building & maintaining relatuonships with the client , developing sales strategies and negotiating contracts.

Duties & Responsibilities -

- Identify , develop and manage new business opportunities in the global logistics market.

- Build and maintain relationships with the client , partners , and stakeholders.

- Develop & execute sales strategies to achieve business goals - Conduct market reserach & analysis to identify trends & opportunities in the logistics industry.

- Negotiate contracts & pricing agreements with clients

- Work closely with operations & other departments to ensure successful delivery of services.

- Attend industry events & conferences to network & stay up to date on market trends qualification.

Key responsibilities will include the following -

* Acquiring & on boarding new sellers from the market understanding their cross border logistics requirements, pitching & selling cross border shipping product & solutions

* Managing client relationship

* Strong time management skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to manage multiple,competing priorities simultaneouslySkills : Strong analytical skills, high proficiency with Excel , Strong Customer orientation, Relationship Management and Relationship Networking, Negotiation Skills, Ability to collate and Analyze data, Innovative solution provider, Strong Interpersonal / Communication skills.Requirements2-5 years of experience working in selling cross border shipping products/ solutions & new seller acquisition/ Onboarding candidate should have prior sales experience with logistics.
