Role: QA Automation Testing Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune Hybrid Mode Position Exp: 3 - 5 years Job Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using Python frameworks such as pytest, unit test, or Robot Framework.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Selenium test automation.
- Apply best practices for API testing, including negative testing, boundary value analysis, and performance testing.
- Utilize tools and libraries for mocking, data generation, and parsing API documentation.
- Collaborate with API developers and QA teams to define test requirements and design effective scenarios.
- Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines for automated execution and feedback.
- Analyze test results, identify and debug API issues, and report findings to developers.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API automation and testing.
- Contribute to enhancing existing testing tools and frameworks.
- Document test automation processes and procedures for future reference.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in API and UI Test automation.
- Proficiency in using Azure DevOps or similar process management tools.
- Strong understanding of Python programming language and testing frameworks.
- Experience with API testing methodologies using Postman.
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying BDD Cucumber frameworks for test automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation concepts.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with bug tracking and Scrum boards in Azure DevOps.
- Experience collaborating with geographically dispersed peers and managers.
