Job Description : We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer/Analyst with 3-4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI development, data analysis, and business intelligence tools, along with proficiency in Microsoft Azure, SQL database management, and data analysis techniques. As a Power BI Analyst/Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights to drive business decisions and enhance organizational performance. Responsibilities : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into insightful and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. Develop and maintain Power BI data models, datasets, and visualizations to support business analysis and decision-making processes. Design and implement data transformation processes using Power Query/M to prepare data from various sources for analysis and reporting. Utilize Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Analysis Services to integrate and manage data for Power BI solutions. Perform data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business value and improve operational efficiency. Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within Power BI reports. Collaborate with IT teams to optimize SQL databases and data warehouse structures for efficient data retrieval and analysis. Provide data and business analysis support to stakeholders, including ad-hoc queries, data investigation, and performance monitoring. Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for Power BI solutions and data analysis processes. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends, and recommend enhancements to existing solutions. Skills and Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. 3-4 years of experience working as a Power BI Developer, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Data Analyst. Proficiency in Power BI development, including creating dashboards, reports, data models, and DAX calculations. Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights. Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Analysis Services. Solid understanding of SQL database management, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Self-motivated and proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and expanding skill sets. Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView is a plus. (ref:hirist.tech)
