Role Summary
Designation – Marketing Assistant
Role type - Client Facing
Location - Indore
Responsibility – The role will have the below parts.
1) Social media copywriting i.e. ability to identify great e-commerce accounting content and write hooks, text post content, carousel content which brings inbound clients (conversion copywriting) on LinkedIn. The social media content is to be written across ToFU, MoFU and BoFU (top, middle and bottom of funnel) with the right hooks, post structure, CTAs for bringing inbound leads. The newsletter content can be made in continuation of the social media content. Experience in writing content on US/CA accounting/tax is an added advantage. Should be an expert in LinkedIn and Twitter content.
2) Marketing Automation Support – Should be able to automate and work on updating CRM, setting up emails for client onboarding and automating the steps on CRM and then automating the onboarding emails and document request etc. to the client.
Salary Range: 30,000 – 35,000 INR per month
Shift: 2 PM IST – 11 PM IST
Areas of Responsibility
- Work with the onshore client to work on content marketing
- Meet monthly content targets for number of LinkedIn and Twitter posts
- Report and track targets on a weekly basis
- Implement cutting edge tech stack like custom GPTs to improve and automate content writing for certain profiles which the firm has.
- Ensure that the CRM is updated with the correct stage for all clients and ensure a seamless set up between the lead gen system to the CRM and from the CRM to onboarding.
Identify Improvement areas in your line of work
- Identify better tech to streamline processes
- Identify areas which can be automated using AI (like custom GPTs etc.) so that time can be saved for content on some profiles
- Identify training opportunities for yourself and for other members of the team
- Pass on feedback to the sales team so that they can improve the way they are doing outbound campaigns
- Create SOPs for documenting the approach that the company has in all areas of content marketing including SEO writing, newsletter and blogs.
Measures for Success (Everything is KPI driven)
- Ownership of KPIs (across social media content, blogs and newsletters)
- Discipline in hitting ensuring content schedule is maintained as planned
- Content writing improvements / year (building team/standardizing processes etc.)
- Development of your content writing skills (every year trainings will be defined)
Work ethics
- Clean background without background noise and disturbance
- Stick to the scheduled working hours and inform if any deviations
- Be professionally dressed for client meetings
- Ensure a good stable internet connection (reimbursed)

Required Education, Expertise and Past Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in any area or field
- Good stable employment history (1.5-2 years in the previous organization)
- Must have 2-4 years of work experience in driving inbound leads through content writing
- Consistently hitting and exceeding content goals in previous organization(s)
- Excellent oral communication skills – Clear communication and ability to understand not only the concept of the content but also the context.
- Excellent written communication skills – Proven ability of researching and writing exceptionally good content without grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.
- Excellent ability to research and comprehend customer pain points and able to craft compelling content with relevance, depth, and clear CTAs.
- Should be able to use Grammarly and Hemmingway to check level of English and grammar etc.
- Should be able to write choppy social media content in a way which entices the reader to finish the post till the end (after a great hook)
- Should be able to use chatGPT, not to write but to assist in the research
- Great to have experience in social media copywriting for b2b firms
- Great to have experience in writing content for US, CA accounting/tax
- Experience in CRM updating, automating flows between lead gen - CRM updates - client onboarding
