Job description
Technical Skills: 10+ years in IT, relevant 5 years in AWS & IT Operations Candidate to have good experience with private and public cloud, architectures and network, pros/cons, and migration considerations. Hands-on experience with infra migration, data migration, and data processing using Azure services: Networking, Windows/Linux virtual machines, Container, Storage, ELB, Autoscaling, Azure Functions, Serverless Architecture, ARM Templates, Azure SQL DB/DW, Data Factory, Azure Stream- Must have experience in Azure IaaS and PaaS. Experience on MS SaaS will be an added advantage. Expertise with analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale, multi-region deployments in a public cloud Hands on good experience in deploying and advance troubleshooting skills in either windows or Linux Operating systems. Good experience in application release management tools e.g. GitHub/Code Commit, Strong knowledge on application monitoring/logging tools.
Secondary Skills: Microsoft Azure Certification would be good to have. Good with any programming languages like Python, Powershell, Linux Shell, AZ CLIs, etc., and knowledge on corresponding frameworks to understand enterprise applications. Knowledge on Cloud Best Practices and Azure Frameworks. Experience in basic networking and concepts Understand Large-Scale Data-stores applications and network architecture. Understand CI/CD pipelines and DevOps process and tools Basic Function: Managing Day to Day IT-Operational activities Learn all the elements of cloud infrastructure solutions, such as BCDR, IaaS, OSS, PaaS, and Infra AWS Carrying out deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within this implemented cloud structure. Experience working with networking components such as DNS, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), IP addresses, LAN/WAN technology, TCP/IP, as well as components like switches, routers, and firewalls Interacting with team members and participating in periodic project progress reviews. Working with virtualization technologies to achieve effective server management for the business. Essential Functions: Help implement technology direction, vision, and strategy to enable Cloud technology adoption. Implement and refine cloud future state architectures and roadmaps including architecture standards, guidelines, and industry best practices. Participate in technology evaluation and reengineering teams to support strategy-definition and continuous process improvement activities Translating project-specific needs into a cloud structure that will suit those needs and considering the project needs in terms of resource usage and scalability. Overseeing cloud security operations. Completing the integration of new applications into the cloud environment. Offering training and guidance to all whose roles bring them into contact with the cloud structure. Keeping on top of usage of space in the cloud and making sure the structure is operating at full efficiency. Conducting migration, where necessary, to bring tools and other elements into the cloud. Onboarding Vendor resources when transitions are in progress.Job tags
