Job Description:
Manage the Environment, Health & Safety function for all locations under company
R&D and build EHS culture in the organization
? Drive implementation of EHS agenda in line with Group policies, current legislation
and company systems & procedures
? Close coordination with site in charge, Head of Departments and other
stakeholder to ensure proper implementation of EHS systems & procedures
? Ensure EHS compliance at all R&D sites through adequate inspection and audit
? Create awareness on EHS by implementing training programs amongst staff and
improve teams’ understanding of health and safety practices
? Effective implementation of GILAC SHMS system and Company standards in line
with business requirements basis priorities and operational risks
? Measure and monitor effectiveness of EHS programs and indices.
? Ensure updating EHS performance data, compile and analyze data to identify
improvement trends and reporting to relevant stakeholders
? Lead projects in term of process safety, machinery safety, fire safety,
electrical safety, etc.
? Identify & Analyze risk by following various process hazard analysis techniques
like HIRA, HAZOP, JSA , PSSR , QRA etc.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: Undergraduate in Chemical Engineering/chemistry with an advanced
health and safety qualification such as the ADIS/ PDIS/ NEBOSH National Diploma
(or equivalent)
Experience: 3 to 5 years in environment, health & safety profile in a Laboratory set-
up/ manufacturing setup preferably in Chemical, Agro-chemical, Pharmaceutical
industries
