Job description
Focus on shaping current portfolio and value propositions with regional customer-centric focus. Own growth strategy for specific regions and segment aligned with SOW and customer plans and drives internal actions to deliver. Represents the voice of the customer and shapes internal and external messaging to address needs. Accountable for in region profitability for selected segments through appropriate target price setting. Accountable for the market IAC / key account interface influencing decisions and actions to deliver regional growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Develops and owns segment related region growth priorities supporting executive Operational Marketing Manager to define the cross segment growth strategy across all customers
- Capture specific analytics coming from Market Insights and Communications team and customer metrics to develop translate insights into customer value
- Engages with the customer and sales team to understand needs and define untapped potential for the customer
- Provides segment based priorities in support of SVP implementation for their customer/region
- Identifies SOW opportunities and drives implementation
- Liaise with strategic marketing and product management team to identify portfolio lifecycle needs to deliver regional strategy and implement marketing plans
- Influence portfolio choices to address regional customers' needs and sets specific targets and priorities for CTS projects
- Engage with customer to build market knowledge and influence according to strategy
- Defines target pricing for product / customer combinations in collaboration with pricing team to capture the best market value.
- Provide product portfolio optimisation recommendations to strategic marketing – bottom up and top down
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the lubricant industry
- Strategic thinking

- Strong pricing and commercial awareness
- Relationship management – sharing and extracting insight and influencing internally and externally to shape decisions
- Strong indirect leadership – key interface with multiple internal groups and multi level external relationships
- Understanding of Product and Technology concepts but translated into value based approach
