Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced freelance Computer Security Specialist to join our team. As a freelance member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's computer systems and networks. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential security risks, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments of our company's computer systems and networks.
- Identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
- Monitor our company's networks for security breaches or unauthorized access.
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and implement necessary measures to contain and mitigate the impact.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends in the industry.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for our employees.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Security Specialist or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of computer security systems, protocols, and best practices.
- Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
