Experience
10+ years of experience in Data, Data solutions, Data modeling (OLTP/Dimensional Modeling) and enterprise architecture 6+ years of experience in Data modeling (OLTP/Dimensional Modeling) Knowledge and Competencies Develop and design conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet the requirements of the organization's data architecture. Proficient in any one Data modeling tool like Erwin, Er-studio, Power designer. Knowledge of Power designer preferred Ability to create data models for RDBMS, Hadoop and cloud Proficient in one RDBMS Like Teradata/Oracle/SQL server Proficient in Data analysis /SQL proficiency Ability to collaborate and gather requirements directly from business and convert into data structures Ability to work in multiple projects at the same time Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead project end to end and negotiate with business and technology leaders Ability to adapt to change in technology /requirements quickly Ability to write SQL queries on multiple platforms Profiling of data and comparative analysis Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to gather and understand business requirements, data sources, and data integration needs. Create and maintain data models using industry-standard data modeling tools and methodologies. Define data standards, naming conventions, and data integration strategies to ensure consistency and accuracy across databases and applications. Analyze and evaluate existing data models to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and standardization. Ability to develop model from scratch both OLTP & OLAP Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to gather and understand business requirements, data sources, and data integration needs. Create and maintain data models using industry-standard data modeling tools and methodologies. Define data standards, naming conventions, and data integration strategies to ensure consistency and accuracy across databases and applications. Analyze and evaluate existing data models to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and standardization. stay updated with emerging data modeling trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend their adoption when appropriate. Communicate complex data modeling concepts and strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in cloud based Databases ( Redshift/Snowflake) and design Understanding of cloud, big data, and RDBMS modeling structures AWS/GCP/ Hadoop knowledge will be preferred Ability to provide suggestions on architectural governance meetings ssssStrong analytical skills: tolerance for ambiguity & ability to act on available dataJob tags
